Shaving Mirrors
Every man, at some stage in his life, has to shave. It starts of with shaving our faces and for some of us, as time marches on, we end up shaving our heads as well! Yes, you can use a namby-pamby electric razor, but real men need the correct tools of the trade, a badger hair shaving brush, a wet razor and a quality mens shaving mirror. I suppose that even the boys amongst us that can get a close enough shave from an electric razor, still need a shaving mirror - unless they have have a really sparse beard - but even then, a shaving mirror comes in handy.
Enough of the slagging the electric razor boys, there is still something here for them!
Why write a blog about shaving mirrors?
There are three reasons for the shaving mirrors blog / site and the first is because I know my shaving mirrors! My father collected them, as a hobby for years. He had a collection of over 100 mirrors and I still use one of his mirrors today. The second and third reasons are combined, as by mentioning shaving mirror products on this website, I can gain a small commission if you click through to the sites that I mention and make a purchase and 25% of any commission I earn is donated to the DogsTrust Charity.
I intend to publish regular shaving mirror articles on the site, pointing out the features, advantages and disadvantages of the different types and styles of shaving mirror, answering questions, etc. etc. I’ll also include a few shaving articles, as trying to achieve the ultimate face and head shave is one goal in my life that I have yet to achieve, yet I’m constantly trying new products and techniques, in a vain attempt to achieve the ultimate shave.
I should probably point out at this point that I have a beard, although it only covers half my face and I keep my head shaved bald, so shaving, for me, is a good fifteen minute ritual every morning!
If you have any questions relating to shaving mirrors or shaving in general, leave me a comment and I’ll make sure I answer it!
